From the outset, we embraced the use of aerospace-grade materials, such as carbon fiber, and developed proprietary technologies like Ruffaine, to create instruments that are not only visually stunning but also acoustically superior and mechanically unmatched. Meet the Founder: Professor Rafał Perz
At the heart of Ruf Guitars is Professor Rafał Perz, the visionary founder often referred to as the “Elon Musk of Guitars.” A professor in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department at the Warsaw University of Technology, Rafał has spent time immersed in the study of advanced materials, structural mechanics, and acoustics. His work in these fields laid the foundation for the innovative designs and technologies that define Ruf Guitars today.
